Why is Bella Ciao an important song in the series?
Originally, Bella Ciao was an old Italian protest folk song sung by Paddy fields workers protesting against harsh working conditions of the paddy fields in North Italy. It was later modified and adopted as an anthem for anti-fascist resistance and freedom.
In the series, The Professor was taught this glorious song by his grandfather who fought against the fascists in Italy. Furthermore, the song is significant to The Professor and his gang as they aim to fight resistance against the flawed system and find their way to freedom through the heist
Quick Recap:
So far we know that Professor and the gang had successfully robbed the royal mint. They all took their much needed vacations with their partners, which eventually came to an end when the professor had to get them all together in order to save Rio.
Thus everyone landed at The royal Bank of Spain. As usual, there were ups and downs. Some had their egos flowing, others made great sacrifices, partners broke up with each other and poor Nairobi was killed.
This heist was as adventurous as the previous one except this time the Professor gets caught and is put at gunpoint by Alicia Sierra. Now the real question is, who is Alicia?
The Alicia Sierra Mystery unfolded
Well, of course we all know who she is and how important her character is in the series but what’s got everyone thinking is what is going to happen the moment after she startled the professor at gunpoint.
Perhaps her true identity is revealed? There are conspiracy theories making the rounds that Sierra could be Tatiana. Who is she, you ask? Remember the woman who Berlin was so in love with and eventually got married to but the Professor was not a big fan?
Not much was shown about Tatiana after their wedding scene. So it could be possible that Berlin’s one true love got herself a surgery or a complete make over of some sort. She made a new identity for herself and became one of the top inspectors.
Money heist season 5 release date
Fans waited for around nine months between season three and four of Money Heist. If season five were to follow the same pattern, we might have been back at the bank by the end of 2020.
Director Jesús Colmenar told Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia that “there is going to be a fifth [part]”. So we can expect production to begin after the lockdown has been lifted and hopefully we’ll get to watch season 5 in the beginning of 2021.
